CBD OIL

Although CBD oil and hemp oil both come from the cannabis plant, they are extracted from different parts of the plant.

CBD oil is extracted from the stalk and seeds of the mature hemp plant. CBD and other cannabinoids are separated from the plant through extraction processes. There are many different extraction methods to extract CBD from the hemp plant. The two most popular and effective methods are CO2 extraction and ultrasonic extraction. The hemp extract is then added to an oil.

What is CBD?

CBD is a well-known cannabinoid and is a naturally occurring substance extracted from the female cannabis plant. The production requires a particularly gentle harvest, in which the seeds are removed first. At Hemplix, the oil is produced gently and under strict quality regulations using a special ultrasonic extraction process.

Hemp is one of the oldest crops on earth. Hemp or cannabis consists of fibers, leaves, flowers and seeds. Products such as paper, rope, cooking and essential oils as well as marijuana are made from it. 

Hemp probably originated in China and has gradually spread worldwide. The cultivation of the crop is relatively uncomplicated and requires little spray and fertilizer. That is why the EU is now even promoting the cultivation of hemp.

People like Bob Marley may be the first thing that comes to mind for many people when they think of hemp or cannabis.

But CBD, i.e. cannabidiol, has extremely diverse properties. In recent years hemp has become much better known and in a positive sense. Intensive research is being carried out into the properties of CBD. The fact is that CBD, hemp oil and other ingredients do not have an intoxicating effect. The WHO also classifies CBD as harmless.

In the meantime, a total of 489 components of the hemp plant have been identified. Around 100 of these are phytocannabinoids, including CBD. Typical components are: tetrahydrocannabinols (THCs), cannabidiols (CBDs), cannabinols (CBNs) and cannabigerols (CBGs). Hemp also contains terpenes, flavonoids and other plant compounds.

For quite some time, the reputation of hemp has blossomed. For a long time it was frowned upon as an intoxicant. But the cultivated plant has a millennia-old tradition.  Already about 8000 BC.BC hemp   was cultivated in Central Asia. 

The CBD oil is obtained from the organically grown hemp plants. Due to the organic cultivation, completely free of pesticides, there are no chemical impurities in our HEMPLIX CBD oil. The oils can contain a maximum of 1 percent of tetrahydrocannabinol, THC for short.
