.What is CBD?

CBD is a well-known cannabinoid and is a naturally occurring substance extracted from the female cannabis plant. The production requires a particularly gentle harvest, in which the seeds are removed first. At Hemplix, the oil is produced gently using a special ultrasonic extraction process and under strict quality regulations, so that all valuable ingredients are preserved.

Hemp is one of the oldest crops on earth. Hemp or cannabis consists of fibers, leaves, flowers and seeds. Products such as paper, rope, cooking and essential oils as well as marijuana are made from it.

Hemp probably originated in China and has gradually spread worldwide. The cultivation of the crop is relatively uncomplicated and requires little spray and fertilizer. That is why the EU is now even promoting the cultivation of hemp.

People like Bob Marley may be the first thing that comes to mind for many people when they think of hemp or cannabis.

But CBD, i.e. cannabidiol, has extremely diverse properties. A now very well-known feature is the medical benefit. In recent years it has become much better known in hemp and in a positive sense. Intensive research is being carried out into exactly how CBD works. The fact is that CBD, hemp oil and other ingredients do not have an intoxicating effect. The WHO also classifies CBD as harmless.

In the meantime, a total of 489 components of the hemp plant have been identified. Around 100 of these are phytocannabinoids, including CBD. Typical components are: tetrahydrocannabinols (THCs), cannabidiols (CBDs), cannabinols (CBNs) and cannabigerols (CBGs). Hemp also contains terpenes, falvonoids and other plant compounds.

Tetrahydrocannabiol has an intoxicating, psychoactive effect of cannabis. We will go into the difference between THC and CBD below.

What happens when you use CBD?

CBD is extracted from female hemp (cannabis).

The ingredient cannabidiol binds to different receptor systems (receptor = special cell or end of a nerve fiber that receives stimuli and converts them into excitement) in the endocannabinoid system. This is a type of communication system between the brain and body, consisting of receptors that attach to molecules so that they can ensure the transmission of signals. So-called endocannabinoids, which are produced by the body itself, have an effect. There are also cannabinoids that are very similar to human ones and have a similar mode of action. The difference is that these must be supplied exogenously. Both substances bind to the receptors and in this way activate various processes.

Hemplix CBD Oils

In addition to the ingredients of the cannabis plant such as CBD, CBDA, CBG, CBC, CBN, our CBD oil also contains terpenes, essential oils, flavonoids and fatty acids.

In the following part we would like to explain why our HEMPLIX CBD oil is so valuable.

For quite some time, the reputation of hemp has blossomed. For a long time it was frowned upon as an intoxicant. But the cultivated plant has a millennium-old tradition and very positive effects on health. Already about 8000 BC. BC, hemp was cultivated in Central Asia.

The CBD oil is obtained from the organically grown hemp plants. Due to the organic cultivation, completely free of pesticides, there are no chemical additives in our HEMPLIX CBD oil. The oils can contain a maximum of 0.2 percent of tetrahydrocannabinol, THC for short. However, this minimal amount has no psychoactive effect whatsoever.

As already mentioned above, cannabidiol oil contains numerous ingredients. The cannabinoids in particular make the oil valuable.
